Default How to get mud off?

I love riding in the mud! But clean up is a pain in the rear. What's a good way to get that mud off that seems to bake onto everything? Some of the problem I think is the clay thats everywhere where I live.

actually more than "some" orange blast (or any type of orange spray cleaner)

got to give it agood soaking with that stuff...but it does do wonders...then a lite wipe with a rag will do the rest

no way around it though, mudding is awesome, cleaning the mudd off is the other end of that spectrum!

Yep Mud Sucks
I got a little patch of Harlan County Ky. right in my front yard next to the spigot from washing the bike down when I get home. The pressure washer is great for getting the mud off but make sure you keep the stream away from anything like CV joints, tie rod ends, bearings and seals. If it's any kind of pressure washer at all it's capable of blasting water right through your seals and into places you don't want it.
There's a company called MDI products: http://www.mo-deck.com/index.cfm they make a product called mud slide. I haven't tried it but it's supposed to make clean up easier.

Wipe or spray WD40 or any type of cooking oil on the underneath plastic prior to riding. That way the mud want have anything to stick to in the first place. I use son of a gun. But before that I was using WD40.

I do the same thing thing as watzupdog and it works great. Only downside is that dust sticks to it be its easy to clean off.

hoopie. just checked out your pics. nice atv hauler. what size tires is on your trailer. they look small. I HAVE to get a trailer this year. I bought my kids a SP90 last summer and have not been able to go riding together because I can only fit 1 quad in my truck. Plus when the 2007 Hummer H3 comes out I'm going to trade in my 2001 5.4 F150 supercrew for one. Then I want have any way to haul any of my quads. I'll miss my F150 but I've always wanted a 4x4. Not that I would be doing a lot of 4 wheeling right off the bat with it. Just on the beach and stuff. Opps a little off the subject.

Some of everything above. Spray on sometype of lubricating oil, wd-40, son of a gun, amor all, etc prior to riding, then presoak and spray on some good degreaser, and follow up with a pressure wash. I do this everytime I ride, and it still looks new! See link below, the polaris in the photos is the evidence. The grizz is only a few weeks old.
