Hmm, think you all may have been right, I will be giving this yutz a call and figure out what he's trying to pull, probably won't do any good but it can't hurt. I adjusted the linkage so far that I couldn't get it in high so there is no possible way that I can get it to go any more into reverse. I did however find a guy that said he could do the works for less that 400 and even realighn the gears when he is done. He rocks!!
This guy put new bushings on the swing arm for $85, that's parts and labor.
Thanks for all the info everyone. wish it could have had better news but if I have to spend another 400 on a machine that otherwise is in good working order and got it for 1500 that isn't so bad. is it????

don't run it much more the chain can come off the gears , get bound up and break the tranny case, I replaced my silent chai and both seals in a 97 425 for about $100 bucks, have to remove tranny from frame, took most of the day.

Taking it to the shop this weekend sucks, probably won't have it back for 2 or 3 weeks. I could do it myself but I would probably do more damage then good. Would end up paying more to fix things that I screwed up.
Thanks again all. I will let you know how it call comes out.
