Are all these stalling happening when the engine is still cold? If so then the problem is possibly jabbing the throttle too much and causing an over rich condition. When the engine is warming up the computer is in rich mode and when the throttle is jabbed to much it goes extremly rich. Try warming up with minimal throttle movement and see if it is better, when the engine is suffiently warmed up it goes to normal mode and you can do whatever. Charlie

I guess we got lucky! Tested it out fine...no problems. Everybody's pleased as punch! I rode it...put it through the ringer...about 15 miles of hard ridin'...ran like any other fuel injected machine i've ever operated...power on...power off, back to idle...everytime...just as it should be...
Funny how sometimes things are just the simple stuff.
I hope everyone gets a fix to their individual issues w/their 500 EFI's...their great machines when they're operating...LOTS more throttle response than the carbed brother...LOTS!!!

Took mine out for the break in ride yesterday and put about 8 miles on it. Drove it up and down hills and through some creeks. Glad to report that I had no problems with stalling, or hot lamp issues that some have mentioned here. I never got it over 35 mph during the ride, it's to early. I could definitely feel the heat coming from the exhaust on the right side though but no melting issues...yet. The had definitely put extra heat tape in the area where some here had noted melting issues. Will post more when I get some more seat time.
