Has anyone had any problems with the 700s rearing up off the ground with you. Mainly when going up a hill or stopping on a hill and taking off.looking to buy the 700 in a few weeks and need to know if there is anything else wrong with the 2006s. I have also heard that the EBS makes a clicking sound all the time.

We have an 05, and I have never had any problem with the front end coming off the ground going up hills. I never stop on hills...dont really see a need too stop on hills. the 05s do have some extra tranny noise, and I am not sure if it was fixed for the 06's...

and welcome to the forums

I just bought 2 of the 06 800's and both are fantastic machines. The clanking noise is just driveline slack. I am located in Asheville as well let me know if you would like to check out my 800.

iv got an 05 700 and does great for me. If your stopped on a hill, given the torque and the tire grip of the 700, physics takes over from there, but no more than any other bike iv ridden. Also like was said earlier, brushguards, radiator guards, tighter shocks, and winchs on the front also help a LITTLE bit. But if it ever does come over on ya, you better get the #%*# out of there cause it will put a hurtin on ya. Very heavy machine!!
