Default My Scrammy has a new bog!?

I just rode my 2smoke Scrammy and noticed a bad bog on the very low end when it warms up. if I take it easy into the midrange, it runs out just fine with normal power. Just when I punch it down low it just bogs and wont clean out. The gas seems good, and worked okay in my dirt bike. The air filter is clean. I hope its something simple, like dirt in the carb, but I wonder if I finally need a top end? I think I remember an old dirt bike I had did this when it needed a rebuild. Any thoughts??? Can a plug cause this?? Thanks, Frank

hard to say. can you give a little more info? was this all of a sudden? have you checked compression? does it idle ok? can you get it to full throttle? try throwing on the choke halfway when it starts to bog, does it get better or worse??

Yes, it just started the last time I rode it. Ive ridden it twice, and same thing both times. it does everything normal from idle to full throttle other than the bog when punched at low rpm. I havent done anything other than check the airbox. I tried it 1/2 choke and it really didnt help much. I know it could be a lot of things, but I appreciate the ideas and feedback. I hope its just crappy gas or a bad plug, because Im lazy!! LOL!

you may need to clean out your main and pilot jet, i got a grain of sand in mine down at the dunes and i found a grain of sand wedged in the main jet. also you should check the compression as well, but i would lean towards the cleaning of the carb.
good luck

I would check my compression, then I would check the pilot jet, because if the pilot jet is to big it will bog on take off and once the needle and main jets take over it clears up and runs fine.
I hope this helps!

it winter time you known, maybe you need to richen the pilot jet a little
or before any change try to richen the fuel or air screw,, it will
shown a change as soon you got it warmed up then.

I really do appreciate the input guys, but remember I have been riding this quad 7 years . Its jetted right. It has been running great all this time. I dont need to play with the jetting unless something came loose or i have dirt in it.

thats what im thinking is your problem is something has worked loose and has plugged or semi-plugged a jet, no doubt your jetted right cause you rode it fine before then this happened, so check it and clean it.
good luck.
