OK I got mine installed...the left side took 4 beers to do, the right side only 1 beer to do after I took off the front rack!!! I didn't know it came off so easy only 4 bolts and 4 torx screws, that opens up the whole front end. Anyway I will ride tommorrow and check it out, seems a lot firmer already just by pushing on the bumper it pops right back up..
Thanks again for the tips,
Murf

WGMARQ: Thanks for the update. I tried to install the spacers I bought but decided it would be easier with spring compressors. I ordered some from Harbor Freight and should be here in the next day or two. I should get the spacers installed this weekend. Hopefully (depending on the Maryland weather) I will get a chance to try them out the following weekend. I'm glad to know that the MV7 springs work good. If my spacers don't give me the results I'm looking for, I will probably go your route. I really need to do something cause I am always bottoming out. Give us some more feedback as you get more seat time.

Just wanted to update my experimenting with different springs.
I started out with the 2" spacers and hated the feel. Just felt real bouncy. I would hate to be riding up a steep rocky incline, would probably flip right over.
Then tried the Progressive Suspension springs for the Scrambler. I had heard that these would fit, however, the were too short. Sent them back.
Now I have the MV7 springs on the front. Just got back yesterday from a 4 day trip to Hatfield/McCoy in WV. WOW! What a difference. When riding there in October with the stock front springs, I was bottoming out everywhere. On the same trails this time, never once. The MV7 springs have the same stock feel (to me) when just cruising, but when hitting the bumps, it is a world of difference. Well worth the money ($130 shipped).
Anyway, hope this helps anyone else thinking of changing out their front springs.
