800 clutch question
#1
just installed my 800 primary and belt on my 700.
i can rev it up in N or Park and all is fine.
i was mainly checking to see if the belt was gonna stay on and nothign was gonna fly out the clutch.
its on jackstands right now due to a broken axle, so i havent driven it.
if i rev it hard, the throttle sounds like its sticking, but the throttle is closed.
the clutch is fully engaged and it takes it a WHILE to wind back down.
if i just blip it, its fine, but if i hold it for any amount of time to get the rpms up, it sticks.
could the clutch weights/spring/helix keep the clutch engaged until it centrifically slows it self back down?
i need to get the tire back on so i can drive it and see what it does in gear.
its not like i rev it to the moon out of gear, but dont want the same thing happening when im on a trail, or ill be in a tree.
