I did a search on this and nothing came up. How many hours should I go before my first service and what should be done? I thought it was 10, but then someone responded to one of my posts with 25hrs. Just trying to figure this stuff out.

 

20-25 is good number

 

my owner's manual says 20 hours/200 miles for the first oil change, however, I got nervous and changed it at 10 hours along with the filter. filter is a pain, but make sure to change it every time, I recommend Wix. I switched to Amsoil Formula 4-StrokeŽ Power Sports 0W-40 Synthetic Motor Oil (AFF), not a money saving measure but how much oil do we really use? you should be able to find a local dealer.

i have always been told 10 and my mechanic told me the same. Plus it cant hurt. And is is farly cheap. P.S. dont be alarmed when you see metal shavings in the filter and oil the first couple of times
