Two Sportsman's and Enclosed Trailer Question
I have a 8.5' x 24' enclosed trailer with ramp door in back. You can see my pictures in my gallery. With a shelf in the front I can drive 3 - 500 sportsmans end to end & strap them down or I can turn them sideways & get 5 of them in that way. You need to allow 7' for the length of a sportsman & 4' - 5' for the width - this depends on tire size. Right now we only have 2 sportsmans & it works great. I leave all of my atv stuff in there all the time too, it is like having an extra garage bay.
I was hunting for a 20' trailer but could not find one so when the 24' footer came a long it was a bit big but I can get everything in there like fuel jugs, lawn chairs, atvs, spare tires, grills, tool boxes, tents, sleeping bags, & everything else you might need. Just as a side note I paid $ 4,250.00 for a used 24' enclosed trailer. If you were to go out & buy a new 6 x 12' enclosed trailer you will spend $ 3000.00 or better for one of these.
