Default Polaris spacers, what the ??????

nice to see my name still comes up here in the forums, how is everyone doing? man feels a bit weird to be on here again. I was just listing four sets of the spring spacers I found tucked away and decided to put them up for sale in the classifieds section, if anyone needs a set they are 1" think and are in the suspension classifieds of the atv parts in the atv connection classifieds. I am not trying to push these spacers on anyone nor am I making anymore than the four sets I have listed which were left overs. I may not be on here for awhile so either use the phone number or email listed on the classifieds.

hey glad you're still around! I have heard a couple people had the axle fall out due to the lift, I think they had 2". would their be the same risk with a 1"?

not sure what the problem would have been, I had mine on there and beat on it hard and never had any problems. still worked great even after I sold my quads, the new owner liked the spacers so much he had me send him a set for the wifes quad I sold him. I would go 1" on a stock quad or if your using 26" tires, anything larger than 26" tires then you'll need a 2" spacer in my opinion but I've heard guys say they use 27 and 28 inch tires without a lift too so I guess it's up to the owner and what they are comfortable with.

I've been thinkin' about it for a while now, don't like the way the 04 sits with the nose down lower than the rear. your system has the spacer for under the strut cartrige too right?

Zero,
The problem you are talking about is the complete lift strut and spring spacer. What Bullet has is just the spring spacer which preloads the spring. I made a set of 2" spring spacers and 1" strut spacers that gave me about 1.25"of lift but it also stiffened the front nicley. I am running stock tires, double tube front bumper, winch, rack extenders and a rack bag filled with half my garage. I can make the spacers or a lift kit PM if intrested.

what I have is just the 1" spring spacers to go under the front coil springs. nothing to lift the strut up. I am only asking $25 shipped per set and only have four sets and will not make any more. just thought that someone would need them. they work great to level off the front end or when adding a plow or other heavy accessories to the front end.

so do you change the strut cartrige height with just the 1" spring spacer?

no the strut doesn't move, they basically stiffen up the coil spring so to take the play/looseness out of them but in return it ends up lifting the front end. it's like using a floor jack to jack the front end up, the spring unloads and lifts. same thing happens with the spacers.
