Default 04 700 carb prob

My carb came stock with a 155 jet, tried a dynojet kit didnt work. I now have a 162.5 jet in carb(EPI recommends this jet for my clutch kit) HOwever it runs for cr%P ! Bogs at about 5000 rpm in high gear, worse when warm . What is the stock needle setting? mines on groove 3 I have opened the mixture up to 1 1/4 turns ARGGGHHH!

Zerowick, thank you, thank you! My 700 is back ! used a 160 jet instead of the 162.5 (EPI up grade)or the 157.5 (like the bulletin uses) but no matter, it runs great! Thanx

yup, you can find them a lot cheaper, but still hard to justify if you aren't a professional wrench. borrowed a cheap one from a friend but still fried my hands, man they run hot!
