My friend ordered a RCR pipe for his 2000 xplorer. We got it in two days! We put it on... Woke this machine up! (This was the slowest 400 I've seen .) Now : it has "a set of b%lls ! We had added the "white Polaris spring" earlier. It helped too, but not as much as Rick's Pipe. Rick has made a product that has enhanced this machine greatly...... thanx Rick. Ride em hard Polcat

Is that pipe you got, just a pipe where you use the stock muffler or is it one of those loud ones that seem to get most of us into trouble. If its the quiet type please give me some more info, such as price and ease of installation.

Thanks

No, It is the complete exhaust system. The stock Xplorer 400 has the silencer welded to the pipe. It Won't separate .(Why, who knows?) This RCR pipe/silencer is louder, but has helped this sluggish machine come to life. The owner is happy... Far as (noise) trouble; the owner doesn't hunt on this wheeler plus, OKLA. isn't all that strict on DB's. Rick may even have a quieter silencer, I don't know. Price was 255, I believe. That included extra jets, hangers, and all parts we needed for complete and easy installation. ride em hard Polcat
