I rode my scrambler on a new trail off from the mountain I ride on and it lead me into petersberg n.y.
I landed on someones property and it started to get dark so I decided to go back, I went back on the wrong trail.
Oh boy, it's pitch black out and I did'nt know how to get home. After an hour of searching I found my trail, I tried to go back up it and bottomed out on a rut. I rolled it back down and tried again a little faster, I caught traction onto some exposed rocks and it sent me and my quad backwards down the hill!!!
I bent the bars, bent the plastic and lost my sanity. Finally I said forget it I'm lost I'm taking the road home. Cut through some peoples property off from a dirt road, on to a paved road, on to 22 the main road, from south petersburg all the way home on route 22 with bent bars and my speedo reading 73mph, and about 12 miles later I finally made it home at 8:00pm.

DON'T RIDE ALONE AT NIGHT!!!

I discovered that also. Horrible at the moment, but nice stories to tell in front of the fire during the long winter nights.
I also discovered that it's no good to ride alone (day or night). Now we're 2-3 riding, and we really have at least 100 000 000 (yes, a hundred million) times more fun. I still haven't had the oportunity to ride at night (one machine always breaks before dark!!).
