NEW Predator problem!

Does the lemon law not apply on ATV's as well???I know on new vehicles(autos) if you have 3 major problems you can make them give you a different (NEW)vehicle.I would deffinitely be calling up and emailing Polaris headquarters, they should make it right.

Ok, here is what you have to do to apply for the lemon law on a vehicle. You have to have all the written reciepts and statements from the dealers along with the dates. You must document everything and hae everything in order and on hand. The names of the service tech that works on these helps out. You first need to contact the dealer and ask to talk to the owner, not the mechanic, if possible go in person. Explain what is going on, and what type of aggreement can be reached. Important to maintain composure. Do you have all your service statements, it is helpful, bring them with you. If you dont feel satisfied with his response, ask for a number to polarsis and confront their quality control personell. If you still dont feel satisfied then you may have to get an attorney. I went through this with GM and ended up wit a new vehicle. More than likely the store owner will clear this issue up, wheather it is with his service department or the vehicle. Hope this helps .

i did all these things... the dealer and polaris both say they do not have a replacement policy in place and all they can offer me is the waranty. I told them that this was not a satisfactory answer and that i would have no choice but to seek legal action, they both said basically that if that was what i had to do so be it. i think (don't remember for sure), but i think the polaris service guy actually said "i understand that." it's rediculous that they can't change the rules for such an extreme case. i can understand not wanting to give people new equipment when a stator goes or something silly like that, but when you've had as many issues as i have... well i guess my point is that the rules should be written to allow for flexability in extreme cases. until then, the atourney is already hard at work... i just hope polaris will settle outside of court for a replacement vehicle. i love the company, but if they want to take me to court after $30,000-$40,000 in their products, i'm likely going to be done with them permanently...
