what are you guys seeing for milage before you notice better power and fuel milage?

 

I would say a few tank fulls.

 

The two twins I had I figured 4-500 miles before the reached their peak, Now have a 500 efi with 1100 miles on it and it only took about 300 miles...

Dude, don't be afraid to get on it a little during break in. It's good for the rings. Check out this break in article

 

oh beleave me i dont baby my wheelers. only had it to 50 mph so far w/ 27 miles on it. too much slush and snow so far. cant wait til spring.

 

It makes perfect sense. Great article. I know when I had my 250 an atv mechanic told me to run it hard to break it in. He said it would give it more power. I did just that but I dont think I would have known the difference anyway.
