An empty handgun holster placed on the seat will also make someone think a little, the bigger the holster the better like from a Desert Eagle or 44 magnum.

If you do chain make sure you run through the frame and anything else thats hard to remove. they show that one through a rear tire. If they are going to part the bike anyways they'll swing a wrench and remove whatever part its attached to. if its intertwined in the frame and engine they cant exactly just take it all off the frame in your garage. My buddy who used to grow "plants" always talked about somthing he'd see for protection. its a holder with some type of trip wire. they load with 12 gauge bird shot shotgun shells and when tripped shoot up in the air maiming whoever was leaning over your item and snooping. not really safe but its another idea.

I've been there too!.............I used a hardware store 3/8ths chain to secure my new 05 Raptor 660...............BIG MISTAKE!!!!!!!! All it took was a crackhead with 2 1/2 ft. pair of bolt cutters and it was history...........
Now, I have the ABUS Super Magnum chain and lock combo with the ABUS concrete anchor. You can get them or other security chains at www.lockitt.com
Is it completely fool proof? Most likely not but IT WILL NOT BE EASY OR SILIENT!
..........and I will always carry theft insurance just in case.
