Predator dilemma
Here it is...I'm looking at getting a '05 predator TLD but the polaris promotion only gives the '06 models the 3 yr extended warranty, so this '05 which is brand new will not come with the warranty. I want the '05 because the orange plastic is my favorite color so i am partial to that one. So my question is the orange plastic worth not getting the extended warranty? The '05 and '06 are the same price, oddly enough. Does Polaris come with a standard factory warranty? If so, how long is it?

Here's the kicker though. They did not have the '05 in stock and they are willing to go to another dealer and buy it from them to sell to me. So i'm sure that will be a factor in the price of the '05. They do have an '06 in stock so I might be able to talk them down more on the '06 than the '05. In my opinion the '05 should not be the same price as the '06 because it is 1 year old already eventhough it is still new. The asking price between the 2 bikes are the same.

The reason there the same price is because they don't have a 05. They raise the price hopeing you will buy there 06 that is in there stock. If they have to go out a get a 05 from another dealer, there not going to do it for free. It takes time and effort to do this. So they will make it seem better for you to get the 06. I like the orange to, but the warrenty is worth more then any color plastic, plus it's newer. Then if orange is what you really want, ask for a 20% off parts and buy a set. It's less the $300. Go with the 06.
