gear case oil

The Polaris chaincase synthetic oil has a pretty heavy dose of moly (molydenum disulfide) in it, which is good. The moly tends to settle to the bottom of the container, so shake the container before pouring the oil into the transmission. My 97 Explorer 500 seeems to require about 28 oz. of oil after draining it.... not quite a full quart. Al Elston
