Default Needing torque specs 98 SP 500

Im gonna rebuild my bro in laws top end next week.I posted about a problem he had with backfiring and it turns out the camshaft is bad.Hes gonna order all the pieces and gaskets to replace his cam.I dont have a repair manual for this atv and am in need of all torque specs to change the cam.Am gonna need the valve clearences as well.Thanks.The help will be appreciated.Scott Sanger.

Default Needing torque specs 98 SP 500

Valve lash is .006" on my 500ho which is a 2003. The torquing is another story. There is about 7-8 steps to torquing down the head. You have to torque down..back off..torque again..its a detailed process. I'll try to find the specs for you though!
