Bad= CV joint repair $$$$$$$$ and premature wear on brakes and drivetrain, more tippy

Good more ground clearance= biggertires and that goes back to ^^^ and thats about it

remember the polaris already has 11.25"

Well, I went for it. I just finished installing the Xtreme Products 2" lift front and back, EPI HD springs and Gorilla axles. I'm going for a trial run in the morning, we're supposed to get 3-5 inches of snow.

I needed to get a couple more inches of GC to stay above the rocks on the trail, kinda like "tip of the iceburg" rocks, 12" of rock sticking up on the trail and 4 ton boulder beneath it. With the 03 model I could'nt go much taller than 26" tire without serious tire rub, so I went with the lift.

The hardest parts of the install is getting the stock axles out and removing enough of the strut housing material to clear the bigger Gorilla boot combined with the steeper axle angle. The machine does look lifted and with the rear shocks cranked up 3 notches the rear end sticks up there, I may crank it back down. Anyway I spent the big bucks up front to avoid problems on the trail, we'll see. Those Gorilla super duty axles are plenty beefy.
