Default Looking for help! 500 scrambler, clutching, exhaust.

i have a 2004 scrambler 500 and i have a few questions: i got some clutch springs (primary/secondary) from rick ritter, i don't remember exactly what they are, but the primary has pretty high engagement. that is why i took it out. i didn't like it at all. it felt very jerky, made it hard to climb/crawl, and seemed to smoke the belt. hated it. didn't really notice what the secondary did.

so, i have heard that the 500's are very underclutched from the factory, so i still want to put a kit in it. i want a primary that is at or close to factory engagement, a good secondary, weights, helix, whatever i need. team roller if i can still get one. i will prob do the airbox mod. what do i need?

i also want a good pipe. i was thinking white bros e-series slip-on? will that dictate my clutching, or vice versa, or what?

my goal here is to get as much power as i can get, torque mainly, as torquey as it can get (A TORQUE MONSTER!!!!), with good top end of course.

that said, i ride slow as much as i do fast, lots of crawling, etc, so i don't to lose that capibility at all.

help is greatly appreciated.

EDIT: i am also contemplating an explorer trans for the 4x4 low. would that affect this stuff at all?

EDIT 2: i can't find a white bros e-series slip-on for the 04?

If you cant find a WB pipe the FMF is ok and Aaens slipon with spark arrestor is good too.
On your clutching I would call Rick and tell him that the spring you got from him didnt suit your needs and I bet he will swap with you for one that will work for you. Most likely a Dalton blk/white.

Hotseat did have the TEAM secondary and HPD can set one up for you too.
And yes it is worth every penny.

You need the TAS98 but the 99 can be modded to work on non ebs
