Default leaking gas?

I have a 2002 polaris sportsman 700, and the weirdest thing happened, it never leaks gas but when we hauled it on a trailer we noticed that gas was dripping from the bottum of the atv. The atv never has leaked gas before and when we was done riding i had a half tank of gas, so we put it on the trailer and within a 30 miles ride on the trailer the atv leaked all the gas out? Any clue why it would only leak when being on a trailer?

Default leaking gas?

Hi, Sometimes, when hauling a quad on a trailer, the bouncing around can cause the float to stick inside the carb. If that was the case, and it doesn't come un-stuck on it's own, just tap on the bowl of the carb with a handle of a screwdriver and it should come un-stuck. If that doesn't un-stick it, just take the bowl off the carb and it should come un-stuck. If that solves the problem, start turning your gas off when you haul the quad so that if the float sticks again, you don't lose all your gas. I hope that helps.
