I am considering trading my wife's 2000 trailblazer 250 with Aaen pipe and clutch kit for a 96 400 sport straight across, both machines are in excellent shape. My question is, is a 96 thru 98 400 sport the same other than graphics? Do you think this is a good trade? 400 is all stock. Thanks in advance- Ken.

yes both 400's are same exept graphics. but let me warn you, ive got a 98 sport and loved it till i rode a 2000 model!! the suspension on the 98 will probaly beat her to a pulp!! her tb has a superior suspension compared to the 400. set em side by side and compare. jmo!!!!!!!

You could add the Fox shock on the rear for $149. You could also get the aftermarket fronts for $169, uninstalled, of course. There is a huge power difference between the 400 and the 250, even piped and clutched.
