Hey...
I notice everywhere they have different year ranges for scramblers
as to what will fit and what wont.. Ive seen every thing, form 95-97, 97-2000, 96-98 etc. etc. Ive also seen this with cars, and know it is total BS half the time..

I bought a bumper off eBay that supposed to fit a 97-2000 scrambler 400... why wouldn't it fit a 95 or 96?

Any ideas?

Just manufacturer ignorance?

 

96-97 # 2670161-067 SPTS 400-500 98-99 # 1040725-067 SPTS 400-500 2000 # 1012773-067 SPTS 400-500 (GEN 3)

All look the same,BUT some difference I guess,really havent paid attention to this before. 96-97 model numbers supercede to #2670161-067. Maybe some other members can help. Good luck

Even if a mounting hole is different.. nothing a few beers and a dremel/drill cant fix!

Need a bumper for pushing the lesser quads out of mud holes, up hills, or when they need a pop start


friend borrowed my 300, left the lights on, got it pop started.. . we went riding, it coked out (was at night so we needed lights, makes it hard to charge)
tried push starting the 300 but stock bumper (or lack of) hits tail light mounts on 300... thinking about getting REAR bumpers as well... like this
