If I had the money, I'd love to order up a brand new 750 twin engine from the new SL polaris snowmobiles, Better yet!!!! the "SLT" (Turbo) 750 twin 4-stroke engine that makes something like 140hp I think, and shoe-horn it into the chassis of my sp700efi!!! I'd have the fastest most powerful sportsman ever then!!!! (until the tires hooked up and it flipped over or something in the drivetrain broke) Ha Ha Ha Ha!!!!!!!

 

It's too bad the transmission won't hold up more then 100hp at the max...plus you'd have to mount the turbo up high outta the way..and you'd never be able to go in the mud due to risking the chance of gettin water or mud sucked into the turbo..or when the turbo is hot get it splashed with water and it'd crack. Thats why you see no turbos on wheelers that are really "wheeled"

 

actually the clutches are only rated for about 80 to 85 hp with 140 ponies goin to that you would have problems lol

 

Sure would be fun though!!! Even just the 110hp non turbo 750 twin would be good!!!! I did a search on Ebay for any polaris watercraft or '06 sl sled engines... none found. Oh well, I'll have to just keep watchin'!

 

i put a 440 pro x motor in my scrambler i got it off ebay awesome used snowmobile clutch thing rips that was a 130hp motor well 128.9 on the dyno so far with few mods no problems so far there are people running turbos on quads with luck and as far as one cracking from getting wet have you ever seen a rally car? just my 2 cents
