95 Sportsman 400 Clutch Question
#1
I am wondering what color clutch springs I should go with to get the best low and mid range performance from my 1995 Sportsman 400. I have stock exhaust and plan to keep it that way due to noise regulations. I found a kit from HPD, meant for a stock motor, that includes springs and weights for $95. Is this worth it or should I just replace the springs?

I would take a lok at the weights and if they are worn go with the HPD kit.If they have no play or wear to them get a Polaris green or Dalton blk/white primary spring and either a Aaen blue or HPD violet secondary spring. I have the Dalton-Aaen set up in a buddies 95 400 sportsman and he loves it.
