Default squeaky brakes

2006 500EFI, the brakes squeak constantly. Does anyone have any recommendations as to what are some good aftermarket pads for this? I have cleaned and cleaned and even filed the edges of the pads and they still continue to squeak.

My 06 700 rear break speeks also. Only when I tooling around the yard slowly. check for binding calapers and make sure the slides are well lubed. I'd also add and anit seeze/squeak blocker to the back of the pads. I use the Honda M77 lube on all of my break jobs and it helps.

Not usually, they only get worse the longer i ride. I have checked for a sticking caliper but that doesn't seem to be the case. I thought about putting some anti squeak on the back of the pads but haven't tried it yet, that will be next and then I will get new pads if it continues.

Speedy - Did you ever get your squeaky brakes figured out. I have the problem now too. Do you have any brake pad recommendations or any recommnedations in general? Thanks

Yes i finally got the squeak to stop. i applied the stop squeak to the back of the pads and it didn't help. I then took the rotors off and sanded then off, there was a lot of galling there and i figured it may have something to do with it. Then i also cut some slots across the pads like very other pad i have ever seen and put it all back together. hasn't made a noise since.
