Default mind of its own

once in a while my quad would continue to accelerate after you have let off the throttle. now it thinks it is inreverse at all times and wont move unless you push the over ride button. i guessed a wire coming from the gear selector and just pulled it off and now it seeems to work fine and never have to use override

ya there is a wiring harness coming from it. i have no idea why it is doing it. pisses me off though. it happend after i did a bunch of jumping and hill climbing ohh and a ton of mud, so ya normal riding. it also is over heating i think. the dummy light comes on and coolent shoots out the overflow bottle. the fan runs light stays on for while and then 5 mins later its happening agian. everyone says sell it, but there is no way ill ever do that
