Rear Shock Re-Building kit?

ok thanks. is that what you did with yours? if so, about what are their prices on it?
and for the special tools, i own enough tools to rebuild any engine from a quad to a peterbuilt, but yea your probably right. and i dont feel like going broke just buying tools that im only going to use once.

i have mine being rebuilt right now for a 2000 scrambler at the dealer. It is $80 for the rebuild kit and $30 to recharge the nitrogen and $55 for labor for a total of $173 with taxes. A new fox shock replacement was $320 and a new works shock is about $500. So i got mine rebuilt. I took off the shock and brought it to the dealer. I does take a lot of special tools to do it. The dealer even had to order a tool for that year shock and its a large dealer.

I never rebuilt it, I just seen it in the back of the service manual. Some of the tools you could probably build yourself or rig somehow, instead of buying a expensive tool. Az Bads Boyz website says $60 dollars to rebuild to stock or your specs. Of course you probably have $60 dollars in shipping both ways.
