I want this forum deleted! It offends me. I am
Canadian and feel that this out cry is damaging to
our Canadian youth. We need an elected Liberal to pass a law to abolish this form of propaganda.

Lets call it bill C70 and have everyone re-register and provide serial numbers of their ATV's. No one can own an ATV without an "FAC" (federal atv certificate). If however you were born before 1979 you can aquire or sell an ATV but cannot ride it. When you apply for an FAC a $50.00 fee will apply to help pay all the wages of the moronic elected officials that implemented this new program.

Oh ya...Don't bother thinking you can skip registering and keeping your current ATV. A new
militia force called D.O.P.E.S. (Dumb A** Officers
Peeing Off Everyone in Society) will have full authority to search your house and property for un-registered ATV's.

So get out early and beat the registration rush! Now for a limited time only you can get in on the $10.00 fee (Taxes Extra) where you can register all your ATV's at once for one flat fee!

This is how we do things in Canada
Now where do I register my firearms again???

Ooops...we can tell that elections are coming up!

I hear ya. Laws are getting stiffer here too. Plus they charge for everything now. Fees!

Did you know that here in Quebec we have to take an outboard-motor class now. Yes! Anybody wanting to use a motorboat (even with a 2hp engine) must take this class within the next year or so. This is in part because of some underage girl that accidentally killed a couple people with a rented Personal Water Craft!

And they charge for this too! Welcome to Canada!

Ya I know all about the out board motor laws and the personal watercraft laws. I am thinking that
the same will happen to ATV owners.

You think Quebec is bad? Here in BC we have a
saying..."BC means Bring Cash".

I lived in ontario for 21 years then left and fled to the usa. Where We can still own guns and still maybe vote, even if it is still recounted 39 times. Canada is going down hill fast, scary when you think about it.

There is a movement underway headed by CATV (Canadian ATV Association) and ATV TV (Canadian Version) to create a national ATV Federation. There were meetings here in NF last weekend to discuss the issue. I happened at the local Bombardier (sp) dealership and was not opern to the general public as far as I know.

I have a feeling that there is somthing BIG going to happen in the ATV scene in Canada and this Canadian ATV Federation will be there to support or fight it.

Just look at the job posting with AMA (American Motorcycle Association) looking for someone to head up a ATV section. Something is afoot in the great US of A as well . . . or so it seems.
Something is happening.

And, sadly, dazed, on the FORTIETH vote count, Al Gore, a guy who's vowed to take away OUR guns and ATV's (and, in fact ALL internal-combustion engines), may "win."

Election-year exaggeration? No. In Gore's own words (his book, "Earth In The Balance") he declares he wants to abolish the internal combustion engine; in his campaign, he said he wanted registration (at first, only of "new handgun buyers"), a step in confiscation of firearms.

So far, thank goodness Katherine Harris, Florida's Secretary of State, has the guts to stand against the Clintonite election thieves and for the rule of law. She portrays a rare profile in courage; look for her in future history books.
