The reverse override on my 94 sport 400L quit working. It worked fine a few weeks ago and when i went out last weekend pushing the button made no difference - checked the wires but couldnt find anything loose. Is the override bad and can i disconnect it for the time being. Not fun trying to get unstuck when it barely moves in reverse.....

 

Follow the black wire from the rev box to the wire block an unplug it.
