So if I go with the CPI pipe, do you guys think I should put the stock helix back in and the s55's? What if I put the 15 on the front and leave the stock 34 on the rear?

On the HPD website they have a chart for gearing. Under tech tips and gearing for speed. Hope some of that gets you close.

 

I put the 30 tooth on the rear and I left the stock 13 on the front. Maybe it will be ok with that gearing i'm not sure. Does the CPI pipe come with the stinger, and then I will need a silencer correct?

 

The CPI is a complete exhaust front to back.I just got mine installed and it looks good.Be sure to emphasize model and year your putting it on.

hey 16 polaris you need to call ftz and ask them about that pipe. what are you turning now? what should you be turning?

whitedog bought an out of frame cpi at which im sure is similar to yours. with the hpd clutch setup he was only turning 7g!!!

he called cpi and they told him the pipes supposed to turn 8600!

he had to do major clutch ajustments but it did pay off.

every pipe/clutch setup is different. you just gota tune on it till its right. do you have a tach? youll need 1.

as for the 15-30 gearn. please!!!!!!!! i wouldve laughed right in his face!!!!!!!!!

 

It's a little louder than the Ritter topend,deffinately pulls harder from bottom thru top.Again I will tell you to be SURE they get the model and year right.I was sent the wrong muffler(mounting tabs wrong,second time right muffler,wrong stinger tube)so I got tired of waiting, I redrilled holes in mounting tabs to make it work.
