Has anyone tried the iridium IX plugs made by NGK ? The write up on NGKs web site looks good. Ordered some for my 700. Part # BKR7EIX. Will let you know if I see a differance.

Thanks, I came from the Chinese quad side, where we never had that type of readily available info.

I agree with Aaron on this. I have put 81513 miles on my 2005 work truck since I bought it last year. I decided at 75000 miles to put some plugs in. Factory were Iridium $8.00 a piece plugs. I put $2.00 plugs in instead. My Mileage has not changed at all. Driving as much as I do, I would know!
And anybody that says "I felt a diference as soon as I installed them, in performance" is full of crap! The seat of the pants dyno only tells the mind what it wants to here. Unless someone can show us Dyno runs, where nothing but the plugs were changed, showing a $6.00 each gain, I call B.S.!

iridium plugs will not perform any better than a platinum plug. the advantage is it takes less current to get a good quality spark. when its cold outside and using a battery type ignition you will get a better spark than any other spark plug at lower voltage cranking. atv's use cdi ignition and i am not sure about the voltage at slower cranking speeds.
