Default clutch service

my quad isn't by me right now but i ordered new clutch components for it for next weekend, do i need to remove the primary to get the spring out? if not does the puller off any year polaris sled work? i have them all.
Does anyone reccomend different set-ups or stick to stock,
thanks
any other tips and tricks for this particular quad?
any maintenace points i should realy watch?
this quad is new to me

You dont need to remove the primary to change the spring or weights. I would change the primary to a EPI pink or red, get a new belt if the machine is used, and maybe even change the secondary spring and buttons. I would definately change the buttons on the secondary anyway if it was used.

are these p-85 clutches? what polaris spring closely matches an epi red?
im interested in low end, not at all speed
