changing clutch weights on the HO

This is really not hard. I don't think you have to dismantle the clutch to change weights like you do when you change springs. One time saver is to take the 4 bolts out of the floorboards at the footpegs, but leave the floorboard attached to the fenders. It will flex/swing out of the way when you pull off the clutch cover. I would think a little sealer on the clutch cover would be a good idea if you're
into lots of mud and water. Maybe just on one side, let it dry before putting it back together so it isn't a mess the next time you take it off.
I can change a clutch spring in less than 30 minutes.
I still have my stock 46 gram weights on my H.O. but I put a white spring in. It works great,
only clunks once, when it's cold. Let us know how the 44's work. They should give you a little more rpm, therefore a little more power.
If you tell your dealer you ride at high elevation he should change these weights for you for free. Buy a white spring and have them stick it in for you while it's apart. Tell them it's running "doggy" up there in them thar hills.
