predator motor questions...

hey guys,
i have a friend who has the TLE pred, and while i prefer my wide ratio tranny for most of the wide open riding we do, we recently rebuilt his practice track in such a way as to allow for competition. The jumps are now wide enough for 3-4 quads to go up at the same time, thus we can now pass and RACE!!! anyway, the track is tight enough that i only use 2nd-3rd the whole time, whereas with his close ratio box he can use 2nd-4th in the same speed ranges and have a decided advantage. I realize fully that this is what the TLE gear box was designed for, but i was wonderring what would be the best way to stick with it around the track. I can be competative with him currently, but i can't help but think i'm working harder than he is to do it.
anyway, i was wonderring what the stock rev limit was on a pred, and what an after market CDI does for you. I'm already planning on the rath head pipe in a couple weeks, and you can see my set up below, what do you guys think is the next logical step? was considerring valve springs from nicholas and an increased rev limitter, but i don't want to make this thing into a hand grenade, it's done that more than enough on its own in the past (see previous posts) any help would be great!
P.S. i don't want to bore / stroke the engine, and i like the power characteristics like they are, so i'd like to stay away from a super revvy cam, will increased compression cause loss of reliability? thanks again!

actually i tried that... i've registerred there twice, but it won't let me log in, even after i've confirmed my membership... hence all my pred questions come here... maybe i should email their support people...

thats weird! they are having problems with the search engine right now. I think they send you the password in your email box so make sure its not in your junk mail. I would send them an email. If you own a pred you need to be on that site because of the knowledge shared there. Nothing against this site as I love it but for the pred its the best.
