Default melting plastic is fixed

After having my quad have the melting plastic issue twice and Polaris just saying we are working on a fix I decided to fix it right myself. i took the pipes right from the jug back and had them Jet-Hot coated, and then took some nice shiny diamond plate and made some real heat shields. It has worked so well that the leg doesn't even get hot anymore while riding. The Jet hot coating was a little expensive but well worth it in my opinion. While I was talking with the guy at Polaris on the phone I told him what I was doing and asked if it would anyway void my warranty and he said no, but it is a great idea and they would still cover the plastic that I have that is melted down.
