Remove air jump on the tire with both feet, use pry bar to slide bead off.
Clean rim with wire wheel before you put your new ones on.
A tire store is easy ...but you can do it.

I use my dads slide bar thats used for big truck tires and vehicle tires, It works great on steel wheels, I take my douglas wheels to a local shop due to how thin they are.

...are you trying to get the bead broken or just getting the tire off or both?
Yeah trying to get the bead broke with out killing myself. Putting the stock tires on some new Douglas rims.

the hardest part is breaking the bead. i have had to put the rim and tire on the ground and run over the tire rewal close to the rim w/ a ruck to break it down. the longer their on the rims the harded they are to get off.
