Just looking for some input on my front diff. The left side where the u joint connects to the front diff is very sloppy . Looks like it is the spline on the diff or can it be the one inside the u joint does not appear to be the ujoint it self. Have not removed it yet, hoping its not the diff do not feel like removing diff, shaft would be easier.

I had this problem on my wheeler as well..it is the splines on the shaft, not on the gearcase. What I did is I went to my dealer and got a couple of broken shafts..one prop and one front and just took the yolks off them and put them on mine....sloppyness GONE! It was free also! Yolk on the prop shaft is the same as the ones on the front axle btw..

 

That makes a guy feel better, thanks alot I will get on it Monday am after the big easter weekend.
