My speedo stopped working the other day for no reason. any ideas?I have an 03 sportsman 500 ho

Speedo not working

The sensor that goes down and is mounted on the front hub is either dirty or stopped working. You can remove the bolt and the sensor sort of sits in a cup. Mine on an 01 500 was filled with dirt and mud once and the next time I had to replace it. It wasn't that expensive.
