Default 700 EFI fuel pump/ fuses

I have an 04.5 700 efi which is getting water up, in, around the fuses and ends up making the pump cut out. It went last Fri. on a run, had to get towed out, pump quit, the bike then sat in the garage all wknd until I tried it again Mon. night and it started right up....pump sounds strong!! Last night took the front end off to clean in that area, pump was still working at this point, pulled the fuses, and sprayed in there with compressed air.Now the pump won't work again!! Has to be electrical, somthing to do with that fuse pack?!
Any ideas....anyone

A good coat of dielectric grease on the spades of the fuses will greatly reduce their vulnerability to moisture, but it sounds like your problem is more than just a faulty connection with the fuse.

turns out it was only a corroded and loose connection about 8" from the pump itself, cleaned it, put in new grease and its good to go.

It would appear that 'shaq700' has morphed into 'lonnythepimp'.

How about 'shaqthepimp' instead.....LOL

Glad to hear you got it squared away.
