Default Help-250 Boss Crooked wheel?

Looking for ideas here. I have a 1991 4x4 250 Trail Boss. Got done riding and my son was washing both quads when I noticed my front right wheel really was tipped out at the top. The bottom of the ball joint stud had been rubbing on the inside of the wheel and the bottom cap (ball joint) has seperated a little from the housing. I'm thinking axle bearing, ball joints??? I never felt and difference in handling nor any odd noises. I haven't had this thing long and did not get a manual with it. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. THANKS!

Get the front end jacked up and find out what's loose. Use the other side as a reference.

Default Help-250 Boss Crooked wheel?

drlang,
Got the the front end up. Nothing obviously loose. in comparing to the other side, the only difference is the bottom plate that holds the ball joint is seperated from the housing on the inside. Nothing else looks odd.....
Hopefully tonight I can pull the hub apart and pull the shaft and check the bearings. Don't know what else to do other than keep tearing deeper into it.

Thanks!

Got the backing plate off that holds the ball joint and flattened it back out. Ball joint has dropped too low to get the plate back on (holding off quarter inch). Also, the drive shaft easily pulls out of the hub (inside the CV boot) is that normal? Now I can't get the a-arm even close to the ball joint stud to put the nut back on? What is goin on here? Help????????
