My Predator wont idle before it warms up
#1
last time i went camping this last weekend i rode my pred quite a bit and it was running great so after letting sit over night the next morning i went to start it up and it just wouldnt start, it would crank and crank and wouldnt start, i choked it a lil still nothing and gave it a little throttle and it started and i reved it up and it reved right up but then i let off the gas and it went to idle and the rpms just kept going down till it died, i started it back up with no prob and the same thing happened, wouldnt idle, so i took it for a drive and it ran great fire breathing fast like always and idled perfect now, so i thought it was nothing so i parked it and ate breakfast and started it again and it was hard to start again and it wouldnt idle also so i drove it again and it ran great and idled fine once it got to operating temp. The bike has always started right up and idled great even when its cold it still is doing it today takes awile to start and it wont idle. its never done it before and its always started up as soon as you touch the button, but now u have to give it about quarter throttle to make it start. please help its frustrating to have to warm it up just for it to idle.

sounds to me like it's time for a valve adjustment. shouldn't cost much over $100 to have done, but as for doing it yourself, i'm not sure how that's done, so hopefully someone else can post how to do it or a link to a write-up.
