My brother has a 95 400 that has seen better days. His speedometer cable is broke and when he pushes in his 4wd the temp "H" lights up. I know it isn't overheating but does anyone know if the speedometer cable would have anything to do with it or what a fix might be. I am not an electrician so keep it simple. i would think that that broken cable has something to do with it. can you try to make a conection so you will have a complete circuit and then test by pressin the 4wd button

 

I will have to have him try that and see if that makes a difference. Thanks for the suggestion.
