Default how to keep riders off of my property

Some dude bought a house over the hill from me. His property borders mine and he made a trail from his trails to mine, i told him to stay out but he wont listen. I even put up posted signs and put logs on the trail, but he still rides on my trails anyway. I thought about throwin nails on the fence line to flatten his tires when he comes over on my trails. Do u guys have any more ides on how to keep him out???

Its unfortunate when a "bad apple" ruins the sport. But if you talked to the gentleman and he still won't respect your property the law would be your best bet. Although up here in New Brunswick it may take a couple of weeks to get an Officer to visit. I don't think you should sabotage the trail as you might be liable if someone was hurt (Go figure eh). Just my 1.5 cents CAD.

I would think a rider would want to "bond" with other riders. Is there a reason you dont want anyone rideing your trails? Obviously he has NO right to be there, but If he also has trails ,They could add to your rideing pleasure as well. Unless your keeping him out because this is a hunting area or he has tore up the area,or you have something to hide, I would suggest getting to know him.You never know, you may be stuck with him for a long time.

My 2 cents

Setting Booby traps is plain wrong, call the law if you truely want him off your land. =]

If you set booby traps you better be ready for an escalation in your fued. Trying to hurt him or his property just because he is on your property is not going to make him happy. You'll find yourself on the other end of that in a hurry. Call the law, although i like others suggest you ride together on each others land.
