got a '96 polaris trailboss that i just put a carb kit on. just got it starting and running good. rode it for two days and now when you put in gear, its an automatic, it goes in fine but itwont hardly move. it sounds like your doin 40mph when you actually doin maybe 3mph. no grinding or anything. any ideas? we could really use the help. used to workin on trucks not ATVs. thank ya

Sounds like you broke a primary or secondary main spring.

take the cover off with it running. win its in gear the front clutch should push in tighting the belt and therefore moveing the bike. the belt might be burnt and slipping. check the clutch and if it does not look right find rick ritter or find ftwfhl on these forums everyone says they now their stuff. try a seach to find them.
