Default Base gasket check?
I like to double check everything on my engine like retorqueing and so on, so what is a good way to double check the base gasket on a 400?

for leaks or the torque?

for leaks set the idle high and spray carb cleaner around the base of the cylinder, if theres a leak the idle should drop.
