Hey guys I have an X2 and I love it, but I have heard that the 06 500EFIs are having problems. Are the carb models all that different? I live in Colorado so I would love to have EFI, but I don't want to buy a 2006 model.

I think what he is getting at is this. The issues that he is referring to were plaguing the early 500 EFI Sportsman models and not the X2 models (to the best of my knowledge). That is how I read it. I am sure that he will chime in here and let us know.

Lawndog that is exactly what I was refering to. I have not had problems with the X2 but I have heard of issues people were having with the 500EFI.
Also well said on that response. I had 'heard' of a lot of people saying polaris had issues and sucked....Now I know they are full of $hit...All I had to do was shop around for a weekend. Polaris makes such a heavy duty machine it makes the jap bikes look like they are made of thin stamped steel...Oh wait they are!!! I am not saying that they are bad, but after seeing how much heavier duty the Popos were made it was a no brainder for me.
If you look at some of the pics I have posted on my profile you will see where I smashed the bike into a rock while playing in a field of mud. I am not convinced a lighter duty frame would have held up....Bottom line I love my Popo. If it was a piece I would not be considering another one!!!
