Default 300ft. Race Mod times?

Well after alot of trial and error on clutch tuning and trying different pipes, I finally got my race mod down to where it needs to be. I ran a best time of 5.14 lastnight in 300ft. What times are everyone else running on race gas? Or on alky?
Thanks!

Thats great Nathan. Glad to see you finally gotit right! So what clutch and gear setup did you wind up going with?
Hell, the best I ran last year was a 4.92 on alky. I wont know what it runs with my new pipe and clutches until later this summer. our closest timed track is 5 hrs away.
I did get 1st place yesterday at our local heads up race tho. =D

Thats good, I always LOVE to hear about a Polaris being in the winners circle! I ended up with 10-56 weights, Almond/blue primary, and stock gearing, do you think I would gain anything if I put th 30 tooth rear sprocket back on? My 60foot times were 1.8 something i'm not really sure.

Man, I duno what to tell ya about the gearing. Your 12-34 now? Im at 13-30 right now. You oughta try the 30 one night and let us know what the difference is. It seems like these quads like the low gearing. I used to do real well with 14-36 but since I put the new stuff on, and lost some more weight, I thought I might be able to go higher.

Yep im at 12-34 right now, I think I will put the 30 on and try it, I also think if I put a Almond/black primary in to get the stall above 4000 I think it will help me some too.

I just did the math. I gota bet that youll go faster with some higher gearing. Unless its real soft and ur real big guy.

The track is a dirt/sand mix, it can be dry or it can be a little wet from time to time, I weigh 175lbs. So what do you think?

I also forgot to mention that I was dialed in at a 5.15 but when I ran the 5.14 I let off the throttle about 20 feet before I crossed the finish line, so i'm not sure what my best ET would have been, maybe 5.10? But I still broke out.

Are you running paddles or prowedges?
