This was a very HARD decision and one that I did struggle with. Anytime you are slapping down this kind of cash...you better look before you leap. Right up until the end, I was thinking Polaris. The things that got me were the weight to power ratio....no big deal in the parking lot at the dealer but, what about at 6000 ft. on talus? Next, and I mean NO disrespect whatsoever to Polaris or owners: the ubiquitous service history of these products. One dealer told me last week: "If it wasn't for Polaris, my guys (mechanics) would be sitting around". Ultimately, this is why i got rid of the King Quad...more and more issues. The Outy is by far the best machine I have ever ridden or owned. It does live up to the hype. Do yourself a favor and ride one. This doesn't mean you are "disloyal" to your brand. I kind of struggled with this as I was a diehard Suzuki owner. It simply means that you can think for yourself and make decisions.
The guys on this Polaris site have responded with respect and class as I wrestled through this. I appreciatte that and consider you friends. I won't be putting Polaris down after riding and testing their bikes...they ARE a great bike. I just ultimately felt better suited to the Outy.

as i posted before, the Outys put out some SICK power! i'm sure you'll enjoy yours! Also, i think the quality of response is why a lot of folks come here to get help making descisions... I definately appreciate that comment as it's something i've always tried hard to make top priority when helping someone out.
anyway, Congrats on the new unit!

You undoubtedly have an awesome machine there. Most of us on here respect one another and each individual's choices. If I could have found a dealer worth talking to within a reasonable distance of my house, I may have wound up owning one as well. My local dealer put BRP out of the running early on. Don't let the haters get you down. I never argue with a guy over his choice of ride, I will argue when he disrespects me for my choices. Now, get off of here and ride that thing. Congrats.
